5 out of 5 stars Still Waiting   December 23, 2008
This was a great show, sadly it only lasted a few seasons. Lot's of great actors before they got famous. Sadly it's not even in syndication. So hurry up and release it already and don't even think about using the edited versions. We want the full uncut unedited version with any bonus material you might have.

This was a really fun sitom back in the day. When Nicole's (Staci Keanan) mother dies, she is sent to live with her dad. Problem is, her mother named two different guys as her dad so they can't agree on who gets Nicole. They finally all move in together and the hilarity ensues. The two dads are as different as chalk and cheese and struggle to get along while raising a teenage daughter. Michael (Paul Reiser) and Joey (Greg Evigan) are truly brilliant and are the perfect foils for each other as Michael portrays the uptight stuffed shirt and Joey is the cool, free-spirited, lack of rules kind of guy. They do rub off on each other though (as people are wont to do when they live together) and they really love Nicole and want what's best for her. Judge Margaret Wilbur (Florence Stanley) was another of the main characters on this show. She assigned custody to Michael and Joey, drops in from time to time to make sure all is well, and becomes a sort of mother figure to Nicole.

See the season 1 episodes below. C'mon studio, hurry up and get this out on DVD!

This is the show with Paul Reiser (Mad About You) and Staci Keanan (Step by Step).

It was a little like The Odd Couple with a teenage daughter. The two dads were opposites, but friends.

When Nicole's mom died, she went to live with her father- only her mother didn't know which of two men she had been dating was her father. So, Nicole was given to both of them and the three of them lived together.
